Let me introduce myself:

My name is Johan Wentink.

My passion for photography originates from my creative background. At a young age, I discovered my love for music and began composing and arranging custom music. Over the years, I have further developed in this area and started providing professional sheet music, orchestral backing tracks, and piano accompaniments for choirs, musical groups, and other clients.

Thanks to the income from my musical activities, I was able to invest in high-quality equipment and (telephoto) lenses. This gave rise to a second great passion: nature photography.

My uncle taught me the finer points of bird photography. Photographing birds requires a lot of patience, knowledge, and timing, as their behavior is often unpredictable. Through extensive practice, I have mastered this challenging form of photography. I still learn from his experience and enjoy the beautiful moments we share in nature.

For me, nature photography is more than just taking beautiful pictures. It is a way to unwind, clear my head, and fully enjoy everything nature has to offer. I try to capture that passion and wonder in every photo.
